About cookies

A ‘cookie’ is a small text file that the website you are visiting asks to save on your computer. Cookies are used on many websites to allow visitors to use various functions.

The information contained in cookies can be used to track how users are surfing. If you do not wish to use cookies, there are settings in your browser to prevent this. Further information can be found in the browser’s help chapters.

There are two different kinds of cookies. One is saved for a longer period of time and is used to determine what is new since your last visit, among other things.

The second one is a so called ‘session cookie’. These are temporarily saved on your computer to store language choices (among other things) and is deleted when you close your browser.
